TripFund’s Role
TripFund provides software that facilitates payments on behalf of organizations and individual fundraisers. Except for optional tips to TripFund and group trip platform fees, funds you contribute are generally directed to the receiving organization or campaign you select.
TripFund is not the organizer of third-party trips and does not control how organizations run their programs unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Donation Refunds
Donation refunds are generally determined by the receiving organization, unless a refund is required by law or by Stripe/card-network rules (for example in cases of proven unauthorized use).
If you need a donation refund, contact the organization or fundraiser first. If you cannot reach them, email hello@tripfund.io and we will help route your request when reasonably possible. TripFund cannot guarantee that an organization will issue a refund.
Trip Payment Cancellations
Deposits, installments, and balances paid toward a group trip are subject to the organization’s trip cancellation and refund rules. Review the organization’s trip materials before paying.
Organizations are responsible for communicating deadlines, cancellation terms, and any non-refundable amounts to participants.
Group Trip Platform Fees
Group trip platform fees (first 10 travelers free, then $5 per additional traveler withheld from that traveler's trip-payment transfer) are generally non-refundable once collected, except where required by law or in cases of clear processing error.
Optional Tips to TripFund
Optional donor tips support TripFund. Tips are generally non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of clear processing error.
