TripFund (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software that helps organizations and individuals fundraise for travel and manage group trip payments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using TripFund, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the platform, and limited information from service providers that help us operate TripFund.

• Account information such as name, email address, organization name, and profile details
• Trip and fundraiser content you create, including stories, goals, photos, forms, and updates
• Participant and invitee details you upload or invite (for example names and emails)
• Messages you send to us through support or contact forms
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and approximate location derived from IP
• Usage data such as pages visited, features used, and referral sources

We use personal information to operate, secure, and improve TripFund, and to communicate with you about your account and the service.

• Provide fundraising pages, trip dashboards, payments, invites, forms, and related features
• Process donations and trip payments and send receipts or confirmations
• Communicate about product updates, security notices, and support
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Analyze aggregated usage to improve product performance and design
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. TripFund does not store full card numbers on our servers.

We may receive limited payment metadata from Stripe, such as payment status, last four digits, billing country, amount, tip amount, and transaction identifiers, so we can show donation history, confirm success, and support payouts.

Organizations and fundraisers may receive donor name, email, amount, message, and related donation details needed to thank supporters and manage campaigns. TripFund’s optional tip is separate from the donation amount.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the service, and understand how TripFund is used. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand product usage (for example which pages are visited and how features perform). Analytics data is used to improve TripFund and is not sold as a consumer data product.

We use trusted vendors to operate TripFund. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us, under appropriate agreements.

• Stripe — payment processing, fraud prevention, and payouts
• Clerk (or similar) — authentication and account security when enabled
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store application data and serve the website
• Email delivery providers used for transactional messages and invites
• Analytics providers used to measure product usage

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@tripfund.io.

TripFund is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Organizations that collect information about minors (for example youth trip participants) are responsible for obtaining any required parental or guardian consent under applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision about your request.

To exercise these rights, email hello@tripfund.io. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information must be retained for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
